Association "Amici di Ebla"
The Association "Amici di Ebla" was founded in July 2010 when the Mission was still active at the site of Ebla, before all operations came to a standstill due to the outbreak of war, and was born with the aim of spreading knowledge of Near Eastern cultures to the public. This is done through a Newsletter (distributed to members only) with news on the current situation of archaeology in the Near East countries and historical information on the main sites in those regions. The Association organises conferences, workshops and lecture series on the most relevant topics of ancient Near Eastern cultures; it promotes and supports the activities of scholars and young researchers, PhD students and research fellows.
