This kind of funerary monument is typical of the area of Padua. The stone stele (measurements 65 x 48.5 x 8 cm) is decorated in the middle and at the bottom. The inscription starts on the upper-right corner, runs from the right to the left on two sides and ends on the lower left side of the stone.
The scene in the middle shows a man (represented with a hat and a cane) and a woman (with her head covered) exchanging a bird, probably a funerary symbol. This document, due to its particular decoration, is dated to 6th century BC. The inscription is clearly legible and is in the form of a speaking-object using the 1st personal pronoun subject (ego ‘I’) and the name of the defunct in the dative case (Puponei Rakoi).
